Bibiani Goldstars midfielder Appiah McCarthy is aiming to score from freekick when his outfit face Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
Goldstars will play host to the Phobians in the matchday seven of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The former Ashantigold midfielder converted a great kick when his side played out a 2-2 draw against Heart of Lions in the week six clash at the Duns Park.
Appiah looking forward to scoring another freekick in their clash against Hearts of Oak.
“In our last game, I scored from a set piece. So if I get freekick opportunities against Hearts of Oak, I will definitely score” he told Wontumi FM monitored by Footballghana.com.
Meanwhile, the midfielder says his outfit must reciprocate the gestures shown by the fans in their last home game against Lions by defeating the Phobians.
“We’re preparing adequately ahead of our game against Hearts of Oak on Saturday. We wanted to secure all points in our previous game but it didn’t happen, leaving fans unhappy. So, this is time for us to repay our fans by beating Hearts of Oak to win maximum points” he added.
