Experienced Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder, Jordan Opoku has disclosed that it is his dream to coach the club in the near future when he retires from playing.

The veteran midfield enforcer is not getting any younger and has already taken the smart decision to start planning for life after football. According to him, he has the passion for coaching and is, therefore, planning to go for a coaching course very soon.

He opines that he also wants to become a pastor and will do that alongside the coaching job.

“I will go into coaching when I retire. I want to coach Kotoko one day and win the Champions League with the team. I have even asked to be reminded when next the coaching course comes up. I also want to be a pastor, and I will do that alongside coaching”, Jordan Opoku said in an interview on the Kotoko Express App.

The attacking midfielder has been impressive for the Porcupine Warriors in the last couple of seasons and will likely feature when they take on Ivorian side FC San Pedro in the final playoff round to the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.
