Ghana international, Kwame Bonsu returned to training on Tuesday morning for the first time in the past 3 months with his teammates at Tunisia outfit Esperance de Tunis.

Football in the North African country has been suspended since March as a precautionary measure against the spread of the deadly Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.

In a bid to protect players and other stakeholders of the game, there had not been any football activities until today when Esperance resumed training after the long break together with the other top-flight clubs in the country.

At the training grounds of the Tunisia side, midfielder Kwame Bonsu was present and went through the paces with his teammates as they look to build their fitness ahead of the start of the football season which has been scheduled for August.

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player hopes to stay in good shape for Esperance’s game against AS Soliman on August 2, 2020.

He has been a key asset for the Tunisian giants and will be expected to play a massive role in the team’s fight for the ultimate prize at the end of the campaign.
