Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey was linked to Juventus throughout the summer transfer window after the Gunners bought Declan Rice from West Ham.

The talented player, who has been a key figure for Arsenal, was weighing his options and saw a potential transfer to the Italian giants as a top priority.

He ended up staying with the London club and started a few games playing at right back then he got injured in training ahead of the international break.

The Black Stars midfielder joined the Gunners in 2020 from Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid.

Thomas Partey was instrumental for Arsenal in the 2022/23 season but his form dipped in the last 10 games as the Gunners fell short in their Premier League title pursuit, finishing second as Manchester City claimed a third consecutive title.

According to Footymercato.com Arsenal is planning to offload the Ghanaian midfielder in January. Partey's injuries were mentioned as the reason why Mikel Arteta is interested in Tottenham's Malian midfielder Yves Bissouma.

Partey has featured for Mikel Arteta's side in four seasons now, with the last one the most productive.

The midfielder has played 84 Premier League games for Arsenal, scoring five goals and providing three assists.
