Black Meteors striker Emmanuel Yeboah may be bidding farewell to Romanian club CFR Cluj this summer as Major League Soccer (MLS) side, Montreal Impact, has made a compelling offer for the 20-year-old, per ghanasoccernet.com.

Yeboah, who joined CFR Cluj's second team in March 2022, quickly made a name for himself in the senior squad due to limited attacking options.

His impressive performances have caught the attention of several MLS clubs, with Montreal Impact emerging as the frontrunner in securing his services.

The Montreal-based club has reportedly tabled a concrete offer of €2.5 million for the former Young Apostles forward's transfer.

In addition to the transfer fee, Montreal Impact is prepared to offer the young footballer a lucrative salary, the report by Ghana Soccer Net has also added.

Yeboah's exceptional performances at the 2023 U23 Africa Cup of Nations further added to his reputation in the transfer world.

During the group stage matches, he exhibited his clinicality by scoring three goals and providing an assist.

While other North American clubs are also monitoring the Ghanaian striker, Montreal Impact's offer has emerged as the most enticing.

CFR Cluj's president, Neluțu Varga, has expressed his openness to the proposed transfer amount and is willing to engage in negotiations.

Varga also aims to retain 20% of any potential future transfer involving Yeboah, reflecting the club's belief in the player's long-term potential.
