Ghana's Mohammed Fuseini scored the only goal in SK Sturm Graz's win against Austria II in the Austrian Bundesliga on Friday.

The Young Violets and SK Sturm Graz II offered an entertaining first half to the fans in the Generali Arena.

In the second minute, Sturm could have taken the lead after a header, but the ball went over the Viennese goal. A brisk game developed with two early yellow cards in Sturm for Grube and Mustafic.

In the 19th minute, the well-disposed Graz keeper Luka Maric steered a ball over the crossbar. Then Sturm took the lead through Mohammed Fuseini, wide awake and quick, he intercepted a back pass from Austria and shoved the ball coolly into the far corner, Fuseini's seventh goal of the season and the 1-0 for Sturm in the 22nd minute.

After the break, an open game developed with opportunities for both sides, with the home side finding the biggest one, a penalty. Aleksandar Jukic kicked him in the 64th minute.

The Viennese wanted to lob the ball elegantly into the goal, but it came a little too high and only hit the crossbar. Sturm then defended skillfully. There were able to maintain the lead but were unsuccessful in counterattacks.

Fuseini has made seven appearances and scored two goals in the league this season.
