Mohammed Kudus grabs assist in Ajax draw with Excelsior

Mohammed Kudus grabbed an assist in Ajax's 2-2 draw with Excelsior in the Eredivisie on Saturday afternoon at the Van Donge & De Roo Stadium. 

Kudus started the game and last the entire 90 minutes while Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Brian Brobbey also started and last the full game.

Brian Brobbey's right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner gave Ajax the lead in the 25th minute. Brobbey's goal was assisted by Carlos Forbs.

Brian Brobbey scored in the 41st minute but the goal was ruled out for offside.

Siebe Horemans scored the equalizer in the 45th minute for Excelsior with a right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner. The goal was awarded following VAR Review.

Excelsior extended their lead in the 48th minute through Nikolas Agrafiotis. Agrafiotis goal was assisted by Lazaros Lamprou.

In the 72nd minute, Davy Klaassen scored to save Ajax from defeat. Davy Klaassen's goal was assisted by Mohammed Kudus.

Ajax will play Fortuna Sittard in their next league game.
