Mohammed Kudus named Man of The Match in West Ham United's EFL Cup win over Arsenal

Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus has been named the Man of The Match against Arsenal. 

The 23-year-old who was named in the Hammers starting XI on Wednesday continued his first start for the club.

West Ham recorded a 3-1 win over Mikel Arteta's side to progress to the quarterfinals of the competition.

Arsenal defender, Ben White scored an own in the first half.

After recess, Mohammed Kudus scored a fine goal in the 50th minute before Jarrod Bowen wrapped up the win with a stunning strike in the 60th minute.

After the game, the former Ajax star was named West Ham United's Man of The Match.

Kudus and his teammates will face Liverpool in the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup.

Mohammed Kudus has made a total of 12 appearances for West Ham United in all competitions and has scored four goals.

West Ham United will now turn their attention to their Premier League game against Brentford on Saturday at the Gtech Community Stadium.
