Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus has indicated that he is enjoying playing under new Ajax manager John Heitinga.
According to the versatile midfielder, he now plays with a lot of freedom in games because the new manager believes in his abilities.
"The manager [John Heitinga] believes in me, I have a lot of freedom," Mohammed Kudus shared on Thursday night.
This was after the Black Stars youngster scored the only goal for Ajax in the team’s 1-0 win against FC Twente.
The victory has sent Ajax to the quarter-final stage of this season’s Dutch KNVB competition.
Speaking after the cup match, new Ajax manager John Heitinga was also elated and noted that he cannot wait to play in front of the home fans.
"It's important that we got our connection with the fans. Next game we play at home, 50,000 people behind us again. We want this connection," he indicated.
