Mohammed Kudus reacts to 'juju' allegations and his Afcon no show

Kudus Mohammed, a Ghana international, was absent from the senior national team's training in Qatar and the Afcon tournament in Cameroon due to a late recovery from an injury he got in Ghana's game against South Africa in November.

There were some reports in the local media saying he was thinking about quitting the Black Stars because of juju and others also stated that he wasn't dedicated and choose to stay with his club Ajax instead.

The former FC Nordsjaelland star has debunked all these reports in the local media in an official letter to Ghanaians.

“On my path to recovery, It’s very disheartening with all the aspersions & allegations with inaccurate comments about my national teammates citing me from various media & blogging handles. It’s highly unfortunate but all these comments are direct opposite of what I stand for.”

“I will like to use this medium to distant myself from all unfounded comments & information citing me. I humbly call on Ghanaians to please disregard & treat it with all the contempt it’s deserves.”

“As part of the official squad, I am to blame as my teammates. But I believe in Ghana, Ghana runs through my veins. We are with immersed in talent and with or without me BlackStars will come back stronger & shine again.”

"KudusDream' is unfazed & remains resolute in championing the course of my roots Ghana as well AFC Ajax,”.

Kudus scored in Ghana's 2022 FIF World Cup qualifying game against Zimbabwe in October last year.
