Ajax Amsterdam forward Mohammed Kudus is set to miss Ghana’s friendly games against Mali and Qatar, footballghana.com can report.
The youngster earned an invite to play for the senior national team of his country last Friday when Coach C.K Akonnor named his squad for upcoming international friendly games.
Unfortunately, Mohammed Kudus has sustained an injury in training this week and is now a doubt for the friendlies against Mali and Qatar.
"Although we have also seen Mohammed Kudus at work in his position. However, he dropped out during training and is now not fit for competition”, Coach of Ajax Erik Ten Hag has revealed.
In line with the latest news, Coach CK Akonnor will need to liaise with officials from Ajax and check whether there is any chance Mohammed Kudus will recover in time or not.
If the answer is negative, a new player will need to be invited to fill his position.
