Ghana star Mohammed has shifted focus to West Ham United’s game against Brentford this Saturday in the Premier League.

This was after their 3-1 win over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night at the London Stadium.

Kudus scored the second goal to help the Hammers reach the quarterfinal and set up a meeting with Liverpool at Anfield.

Speaking after the game, he said it was good to see the work they are putting into training reflect in matches.

“We’ve been putting a lot of effort into it in training, so it was good to see it work. There is a new game coming up and we will put this one aside and focus on the weekend.”

David Moyes’ side took the lead 16 minutes into the game when Ben White turned the ball into his net following a corner kick.

Mohammed Kudus then made a very lovely first touch to bring down a lobbed pass from Nayef Aguerd before firing into the left bottom corner of the net in the 50th minute.

Jarrod Bowen then sealed the win with a brilliant goal from distance at the hour mark before Martin Odegaard got Arsenal a consolation in stoppage time.
