Accra Hearts of Oak legend, Mohammed Polo has jabbed the way football is run in Ghana in what he calls 'bribery and corruption' is the order of the day preferred in managing football.

According to the dribbling magician, coaches secure national teams jobs by way of other means not genuinely and says they pay money to have the access to a national team as a coach when they are not good enough to take the role.

"Ghana football is all about bribery and corruption and that has affected my career as a coach". I deserve to be a coach for any of the National Youth teams because I have the potential and qualities of searching for talents into the National Teams".

"Jimmy Cobblah was not given the job on merit but through other means and it showed in the tournament in Niger", he told Ashh FM in an interview.

The national U-20 team led by Jimmy Cobblah failed to qualify from the group stage following an abysmal performance in Niger where they picked up only three points from their three matches. The Satellites could not make it to Poland for the World cup.

"Other countries are doing well because they have a very good Technical direction to nurture talents.

"However, I read that there were a lot of envelopes moving round in camp prior to the selection of players to the African Youth Championship to influence the coach and that made him changed the squad he assembled 6-months before the tournament".

"Jimmy Cobblah dropped the players he had been in camp with for 6-months and brought in different players so how do you expect them to play as a team and perform well in the tournament", he quizzed.

He won six league titles with Accra Hearts of Oak club,1973,76,78,79,85 and 1999.

He has handled some clubs in Ghana, and is yet to win a major trophy to boast of in his coaching career.
