Mohammed Polo ready to coach Hearts of Oak on one condition

Ghana legend Mohammed Polo has admitted his readiness for Accra hearts of Oak coaching job but on a condition of the club allowing him to run at his own pace.

The Phobians started the Ghana premier league 2019/20 season on a wrong feet, they are placed on last but one bottom on the GPL table after losing two matches in line, they sacked their head Kim Grant for failing to win the President Cup against arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko and replaced him with Odoom who failed to win his first test against Medeama SC.

The veteran coach said he is ready to turn the fortunes of the club around only if they allow him operate professionally.

"If you have somebody who can the turn your team around and is always available, why not contact hm, if am not somebody who can turn the team around, why will they turn to me when there’s a problem and its always when the team has problems they contact me, to do what."

"But this time with the professional level football has gotten to, you have to ensure that you go with your rhythm, the way you want it, if they accept you work with them, if not you go your way, because I feel very sad the last time I left hearts was the last they participate in Africa, I qualified them.

"Hearts is a club that I will help with the best that I can, but if they are in trouble and they come, I will help but this time I want to do it professionally if they accept I will do it if not I won’t because I have other things to do."

The Dribbling magician was in Ghana's squad that hosted and won the 1978 African Cup of Nations, he coached Accra Hearts of Oak  in the 2013-14 season.
