More ‘Dade Boys’ to leave Olympics as General Manager confirms club is getting rid of 13 players

The General Manager for Accra Great Olympics, Oluboi Commodore has noted that as many as 13 players will be released from the club in the coming days.

News of the sacking of some players from the Ghana Premier League club has spread like wildfire in the last couple of days.

In an interview with Angel FM, General Manager for the club Oluboi Commodore has said that it is true they are getting rid of some players. Putting a number to it, he has confirmed that 13 players have been told they will be leaving the club.

"A lot of players have been given shown the exit, we are also bringing in a lot of players.

“We have scouted some very good players, not players that will come to justify their inclusion. Some are from WAFA”, Mr. Oluboi said.

He added, “For the players put on transfer we have already told them and with time we will list their names. They are 13 players and the players coming in are ten players”.

Great Olympics have played 15 matches in the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season and has picked up 20 points which leaves them occupying the 10th position on the league table.
