Moritz-Broni Kwarteng is still absent from Bochum matchday squad

Moritz-Broni Kwarteng is still not an option for the starting lineup for VfL Bochum on matchday.

This is because the offensive player is still not entirely physically fit following his extended injury layoff due to pubic bone issues, according to head coach Thomas Letsch's remarks on Thursday.

“Kwarteng is out a bit again this week. The affected area has reacted somewhat, it's nothing worrying, but it's not enough for the squad," the coach explained the situation at the matchday press conference.

Moritz-Broni Kwarteng took part in first-team training for the first time at VfL Bochum on Tuesday 22nd August.

On 22 June 2023, Moritz-Broni Kwarteng moved to Bundesliga club VfL Bochum. He signed a contract until 30 June 2027.

The offensive midfielder joined from Magdeburg for about a million euros.

Kwarteng was born in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg and is of Ghanaian descent.

VfL Bochum will play Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich today at the Allianz Arena.
