Moses Armah Parker: Medeama president lifts lid on decision to sack coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu

We sacked coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu because we were not happy with his performance, Medeama SC President Moses Armah Parker has said.

Medeama SC in the off-season recruited the former Techiman Eleven Wonders gaffer to replace coach Yaw Preko whose contract had expired.

Unfortunately, the young tactician had a slow start to the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season with the team in Tarkwa.

After the first three matches into the new season, Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu led Medeama SC to two draws and one defeat.

With the club not convinced by the performance, they announced yesterday that the coach has been sacked.

Today, club President Moses Armah Parker says the club is headed in a new direction.

“Medeama sacked Ignatius Osei-Fosu because we were not happy with his performance and as of now Medeama has paid all the money due him and those leaving the club are a blessing in disguise. Medeama is moving into a new direction,” he told Light FM.
