Veteran football administrator, Oduro Nyarko says most supporters of various clubs in Ghana don't know football rules.
According to him, they don't know or understand the rules which are why sometimes supporters complain about referee decisions on the pitch.
Supporters have complained about poor referee performances in the league and club officials have also petitioned the Ghana FA about the conduct of referees in their games.
Some referees in the league have been penalized for making basic errors on the pitch.
"So with referee issues if you talking about it sometimes it is difficult but what I know is we watching the game, supporters, and clubs we don’t know the rules," he said on Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"I remember when I was in Wa we sometimes bring in a FIFA referee who will come and talk to the players and teach them the basic rules offside etc that helped,"
