Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is expected to start for his club side Deportivo Alaves in their Spanish La Liga opener with Champions Barcelona.

The two teams will meet the home of Barca, the Camp Nou on Saturday.
Wakaso was impressive for the side during the preseason and he is expected to be rewarded with a starting place.

His fellow countryman Patrick Twumasi could also make his La Liga debut for the side after joining them from Astana during the summer window.
