Defender Muftawu Fusseini has joined Ghana Premier League side King Faisal in the on-going transfer window.

Fusseini penned a deal with the Kumasi based side after a successful trial and completing the formalities.

He joins the club on a free transfer after an unsuccessful stint in Turkey.

This will be his second stint at the club after featuring for them in the 2012/13 season.

Fusseini has vast experience in the local league and is expected to play a key role in helping the club escape relegation.

He has previously featured for Liberty Professionals.

King Faisal have been one of the busiest sides in the transfer window, having already signed Samuel Akurugu, Andy Oduro Acheampong and Akwesi Acheampong ahead of the second round of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

King Fasial are currently at the bottom of the league table with only six points after 14 matches played thus far.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association has suspended all its competitions with immediate effect until further notice following the directives given by the President of the Republic due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
