Malaga CF goalkeeper Munir Mohand Mohamedi has claimed the LaLiga 1|2|3 Player of the Month award for September.The custodian has scooped the maiden accolade of the 2018/19 campaign after enjoying an excellent start to the season, in which he played a key role as the Andalusians soared to the summit with 22 points to their name.
Munir was in inspired form for Juan Ramon Lopez Muñiz's men in September, during which Los Boquerones emerged victorious in four of their five outings. The league leaders recorded clean sheets in each of their four wins, with the team conceding just once all month.
Munir will collect his award in front of the La Rosaleda faithful, before his side's match against CD Numancia on Monday 29 October, a game which kicks off at 21:00 CET.
