Ex-Black Stars goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda has emphasized that Sulley Muntari will be a hit in the South African top-flight league if he joins any of the clubs.

In the past few weeks, the former AC Milan midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier Soccer League with reported interest from Maritzburg United and Kaizer Chiefs.

Speaking to Citi FM on the potential move, Fatau Dauda has noted that he has no doubt Sulley Muntari will succeed in South Africa.

“For some time now I have been training with Sulley Muntari. He is a nice guy, he likes to play football, he loves football so much.

“He has been following the South African league when he was playing in Italy and the other countries. He knows how their league is. He is a big man and he is my senior brother. He can make it there if really he is going there”, Fatawu Dauda said.

Meanwhile, it is understood that Sulley Muntari is currently in South Africa and on the verge of wrapping up a deal to sign for Kaizer Chiefs.
