According to the Croydon Advertiser, Jordan Mutch or Chung-yong Lee will leave Crystal Palace on loan before Wednesday's deadline.
Manager Roy Hodgson confirmed one player would leave as he looks to trim his squad.
Hodgson said: "At the moment, tomorrow we have 19 players to choose from. One of them could possibly go out on loan, so that would be 18, so there's nobody left behind. Most clubs have a few players every week that don't quite make the bench."
When pressed on who the loanee will be, he said: "I don't think I will give the name of the player who might go out on loan, it would be wrong to do that right now."
