West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus acknowledges the need for improvement despite a stellar debut season in the Premier League.

The Ghana international joined the Premier League last summer from Ajax and quickly become fans favourite with his dazzling displays for the Hammers, helping them reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League.

As the season nears its end, Kudus reflects on the highs and lows but remains focused on enhancing his game.

“I followed my gut and dream to move here and believed I was ready. When I decided to make this move to the best league in the world, I knew I was ready to take that step and I wanted to test myself," he told the club website.

"There have been ups and downs throughout the season, but I know there are more ways to improve my game. I’ve definitely announced myself here and I am happy that it has gone in that direction for the first season," he added.

The 23-year-old has netted 13 goals in 43 appearances for West Ham and is set to feature as they host Luton Town this weekend at the London Stadium.
