Speaking after the win over Huracanes FC over the weekend, Ampem Darkoa Ladies coach Joe Nana Adarkwa said his girls got the result because they were not complacent and unfocused, unlike the second game.

"We knew our last group game against Huracanes FC was going to be difficult so we did a lot at training and I am glad the Ladies stuck to our game plan and delivered.

"They really played their hearts out unlike our second game against AS Mande, where they were complacent and unfocused," Coach Adarkwa said.

The Ampem Darkoa Ladies coach continued, ‘’We are taking it one game at a time. Next is the semifinals, and we, the Technical team, are working on keeping the ladies on their toes not to lose focus again.”

After two wins and one defeat in Group B, Ampem Darkoa Ladies are through to the semi-finals of the CAF Women’s Champions League.
