Ghana attacker, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has stressed that he remains bent on helping FC St. Pauli to secure promotion from the German Bundesliga 2 to the Bundesliga at the end of the season.
The forward is yet to play for his club since returning from the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament where the Black Stars crashed out of the group stage.
Due to an injury setback, he is yet to feature for FC St. Pauli since his return from international duty.
Speaking on the sidelines of his team’s 2-2 draw with SC Paderborn last weekend, Daniel-Kofi Kyere disclosed that his target for this season is to help the club to go up and compete in the Bundesliga.
“My goal is to play in the top league. As I said, my wish is to go up with St. Pauli. That would be the best thing for all of us,” he said when asked whether he will stay at St. Pauli if the team fails to gain promotion.
The player has made progress in the treatment room and will soon start playing matches for FC St. Pauli.
