SC Freiburg attacker Daniel Kofi Kyereh remains resolute and optimistic despite enduring a setback in the 2022/2023 Bundesliga season.
After suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury for the second time in his career, Kyereh's rehabilitation journey is proving to be a testament to his determination.
With progress steadily being made, the Ghanaian footballer confidently attests that his recovery is on the right track, hinting at an eventual return to the pitch for the Bundesliga side.
Kyereh lauded his teammates for their gesture when they warmed up before the derby against VfB with Kyereh shirts last season.
"A very special moment that I will never forget," he says in retrospect on the club's own TV.
"We're right on schedule," Kyereh says about his recovery. "It's progressing day by day,"
Daniel Kofi Kyereh made 12 appearances and scored two goals in the 2022/23 Bundesliga. He recently completed part of his rehabilitation in Barcelona.
The attacker will travel with the team to their training camp from July 20th to 28th in Schruns/Austria.
