Myron Boadu returns to action after injury setback

Myron Boadu revealed he is happy to be back from injury having missed AZ Alkmaar's first three friendlies matches during their preparing for the new season.

The youngster played for 45th minutes in AZ Alkmaar's 2-1 pre-season game victory against French top division outfit Lille OSC at the AFAS Stadium on Saturday.

Speaking to AZ Alkmaar Channel the pacey forward said

"I expect to need about two more games to get fully fit,"

"It's good to be back, nice", smiled Boadu, who had to miss the first three exhibition matches, but took part in the entire first half against OSC Lille. "We started a bit slow on our part, but then we had a few chances. We sometimes play our way through it nicely," he added.

The right-footed forward's current market value is €18,000,000 and his contract runs till 2023.
