Ghanaian forward Myron Boadu has set sights on helping his new outfit FC Twente secure qualification to Europe after switching from AS Monaco.

The 23-year-old forward joins the Dutch side on loan from French Ligue 1 giants, AS Monaco

Boadu has struggled for playing time, forcing him to secure a loan move to save his flagging campaign. He made only ten appearances for the French Ligue 1 giants and scored just a goal in the process.

The former AZ Alkmaar star is expected to play a huge role for Twente for the rest of the season. He will be wearing jersey no.21 at FC Twente.

"I was really looking forward to being back in the Netherlands," Myron Boadu told the club's official website after sealing the move.

"I am happy that I now have the opportunity at a nice big club like FC Twente. FC Twente has a lot of quality in the team and hopefully great matches await us in the near future. We want to secure European football."

"I already know some of the guys from the selection, I'm really looking forward to working with them"

Boadu was born to Ghanaian parents in Amsterdam which makes him eligible to represent the West African nation in future despite making his debut for the Netherlands in 2019.
