A few minutes later, the Monegasques gained momentum with first a long shot from Youssouf Fofana that went over.

Five minutes from the end of the first half, Russian attacker Aleksandr Golovin, unmarked in the box, tapped the ball into the goal with his left foot from a Ben Yedder's cross.

The hosts reduced the deficit through Jérémy Le Douaron a few minutes from the end of the match.
