Ghanaian winger, Nana Ampomah, has missed training ahead of a Bundesliga 2 clash against Holstein Kiel due to illness.
The news was reported by Bild and confirmed by Dussledorf coach Uwe Rosler.
“He came this morning with a sick leave and we immediately sent him to our doctor. He won't be in Kiel on Sunday. I don't know what he's got. I didn't see or speak to him at all," the coach told the media ahead of the league game.
Ampomah has been linked with a transfer to Belgian side Royal Antwerp and according to reports in Belgium, the 24-year-old will join them in this transfer window.
