Ghanaian winger, Nana Opoku Ampomah has expressed his delight after helping Royal Antwerp record an emphatic 3-0 win against Waasland-Beveren in the Belgian Pro League.

The former player of Waasland-Beveren is currently on loan at Royal Antwerp from German side Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Yesterday, Nana Ampomah was called into action to face his former club and ended up finding the back of the net to condemn the team to a defeat.

“After the zero out of nine, we absolutely needed a win to get back close to the top four,” he said in a post-match interview.

Nana Ampomah continued, "It was also very important that we could keep the zero after three defeats."

With his first goal for Royal Antwerp, Nana Ampomah is confident of getting more for his club.
