Ghana and Fortuna Dusseldorf winger, Nana Opoku Ampomah has tested negative for Coronavirus after a mandatory 14-day quarantine.

The 24-year-old tested positive for the virus two weeks ago and was placed under mandatory quarantine following directives from the medical team of Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Ampomah, together with a teammate, Dawid Kownacki tested positive for the virus but it’s unclear whether the Poland star has also tested negative.

However, after series of checks, Ampomah and his teammate have been declared free by the doctors of the club.

The winger was one of the standout Ghanaian players for the Red and Whites but is likely to bid the club farewell following their relegation to the Bundesliga II.
