Ghanaian international Nana Opoku Ampomah is keen on exiting Fortuna Dusseldorf this summer, information reaching footballghana.com has revealed.

The forward joined the German lower-tier outfit from Belgian Pro League club Waasland-Beveren in the summer transfer window of 2019 on the back of an outstanding campaign.

Though he was signed with a lot of expectations, Nana Opoku Ampomah could not live up to expectations during the 2019/2020 German Bundesliga season.

At the end of the campaign, the forward and his Fortuna Dusseldorf side suffered relegation to the Bundesliga 2.

Last Friday on the opening weekend of the season, Nana Ampomah played 25 minutes in his team’s defeat to Hamburg SV and unfortunately picked up a red card.

Now set to miss his team’s next match, Bild is reporting that the attacker is eager to leave Fortuna Dusseldorf.

It is understood that the German club is also ready to offload the 24-year old and will listen to offers between three to four million euros.
