Nana Yaw Amponsah lands in Kumasi ahead of official announcement as Kotoko CEO

Young football administrator, Nana Yaw Amponsah has landed in Kumasi ahead of his unveiling as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, footballghana.com can report.

Owner of Division One League club Phar Rangers will on Friday, August 7, 2020, be outdoored as the CEO of the Ghana Premier League record holders.

The top position at the Kumasi-based club has been vacant for the past couple of months.

With Nana Yaw Amponsah coming in, he will take over from board member Joseph Yaw Adu who has been acting in the interim in the absence of a CEO.

Our sources have this evening revealed that the FIFA Licensed Agent/Intermediary has already arrived in Kumasi ahead of his unveiling.

A post from Asante Kotoko has also confirmed today that the board of directors will hold a press conference at the Sports Hotel tomorrow at 11:00GMT.

It is understood that Nana Yaw Amponsah’s announcement as the CEO of that Porcupine Warriors club will be done during that presser.
