Nana Yaw Amponsah to be unveiled as Kotoko CEO today

2019 Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential candidate, Nana Yaw Amponsah is set to be unveiled as the new Chief Executive Officer of the club today.

The unveiling will take place at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi. The Kotoko board will offer a three-year deal to the renowned football administrator.

The Phar Rangers owner will meet with the life patron of the club his Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II before his unveiling later in the day.

Kotoko has been without a substantive CEO after George Amoako was sacked by the new board of directors led by Dr Kwame Kyei.

Nana Yaw Amponsah takes over from the interim management led by Board member Joseph Yaw Adu.

He is expected to use his expertise to brand the Ghanaian giants into one of the powerhouses in African football.

The former FIFA intermediary has stepped down as the President of Phar Rangers.

Nana Yaw Amponsah has already presented a five-year development plan to the Board of Kotoko.
