In June, Frimpong Manso, a former coach of Asante Kotoko, noted that the club should focus more on improving youth.
He said: "The Academy is Kotoko future. If it is instituted, the team will be stable forever because that is how the trend of football is going, you can't be buying players every season."
The club has added that to their plans to get back to the top as the Patron, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, placed a ban on further signings.
Currently, the steer has been given to Nana Yaw Amponsah to drive and the football administrator is eager to bring those ideas to fruition.
