Napoli Boss Bans His Players From Eating Pizza Before Champions League Clash With Real Madrid

SSC Napoli's manager Maurizio Sarri has banned his side from eating pizza ahead of their Champions League match with Real Madrid, according to ll Mattino.


With Napoli located in the region of Campania, eating pizza is a tradition that encompasses the Neapolitan culture. It is hard for thePartenopeiplayers not to consume any pizzaas it is on every chef's menu in this southern part of Italy.


Real Madrid fans on twitter have started to tease Napoli fans by posting pictures of Madrid players buying boxes of pizza. Sarri's team are preparing to play one of their most important games in the club's Champions League history and he wants to ensure they're in great shape to match Real Madrid's intense pace.
