Manchester City winger Oleksandr Zinchenko is waiting on the green light from Napoli to move to Italy.
Napoli chief Cristiano Giuntoli has been in talks for the past fortnight with City over a loan arrangement and a deal is close.
However, Zinchenko has been informed nothing will happen until Napoli sell Emanuele Giaccherini to Genoa.
The Ukraine international, who spent last season with PSV Eindhoven, has resisted all rivals offers to keep him clear to join Napoli. Zinchenko would move to Napoli on a 12-month loan with the option to be signed outright for €5-6m.
However, says Gazzetta dello Sport, much will depend on the departure of Giaccherini.
