Nasiru Mohamed axed from Levski Sofia squad ahead of Slavia Sofia clash

Ghanaian international, Nasiru Mohammed was not part of Levski Sofia’s training session on Saturday with checks revealing that he is not in the plan of his manager ahead of the team’s clash against Slavia Sofia.

The forward joined the Bulgarian outfit in the summer transfer window of 2019 from Swedish side BK Häcken.

Last season, he failed to make the expected impact and had a fallen out with officials of the team after objecting to a pay cut during the period of the lockdown as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Although Nasiru Mohammed has started the 2020/2021 football season with good form, it appears there are still some unresolved issues.

The forward reportedly is not in the plans of his manager ahead of the team clash's against Slavia Sofia after the international break.

He was hence not part of the team’s training session yesterday and will be replaced by youngster Stanislav Ivanov for the upcoming league match.
