Ghana's Nathaniel Adjei was sent off in Hammarby IF's 2-2 draw with Degerfors at the Stora Valla.

A few minutes before the break, full-back Markus Karlsson received the ball at the edge of the penalty area, put it over on his left foot, and hit the ball into the far corner to make it 1-0.

But immediately afterward, Hammarby suffered an expulsion. Nathaniel Adjei brought down Diego Campos, who was about to be freed and received a red card.

Away side Hammarby led 1-0 at the break.

In the second half, Degerfors turned things around. Dijan Vukojevic equalized after just over an hour of play and six minutes later Rasmus Örqvist made it 2-1.

In the 71st minute, Hammarby equalized. Substitute Montader Madjed broke in from the right wing and took on Degerfors players before hitting the ball over Jonas Olsson and into the goal to make it 2-2.

Nathaniel Adjei has made seven appearances and scored one goal in the Swedish Allsvenskan this season.
