Nations FC tactician Kasim Ocansey Mingle has expressed his displeasure after dropping points on home turf against Bibiani Goldstars.
The Premier League debutants played out a pulsating goalless draw at the Dr Kwame Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon.
Despite creating numerous scoring opportunities, the Abrankese-based club were unable to find the back of the net, as both teams settled for a draw.
Speaking after the game, the former Bechem United gaffer expressed disappointment in his attackers for failing to utilize their chances in the game.
“We shouldn’t draw in such a game. We created all the chances which was easy to score than to miss. Blame the players. They played and had the chances but wasted them”
“We’ve been working day in day out on our finishing, yet it hasn’t yielded any positive results. 70% of our training are based on finishing. I’m disappointed in the players because the chances came to them” he said.
Nations FC remains second on the Ghana Premier League standings with 45 points after 28 matches, seven points behind log leaders Samartex.
The Abrankese-based club will travel to Nalerigu to face Karela United in matchday 29 of the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
