Nations FC tactician Kasim Ocansey Mingle is saddened following his outfit stalemate against Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.

The Abrankese-based club played out a 2-2 draw against Kotoko at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday in the week six encounter.

The host opened the scoring in the 50th minute following an own goal from Andrews Ntim Manu before Kalo Ouattara exhibited his goalscoring prowess to restore parity for the visitors in the 87th minute.

Midfielder Michael Kyei Dwamena scored to put Kotoko ahead in added time but Nations FC were awarded a penalty, where Amidou Diarra converted to snatch a point for the host.

"I'm very sad because we should have won the game hands down," Mingle lamented in a pitchside post-match interview with StarTimes. He emphasised that his team's lack of focus cost them the victory.

"Our boys lost concentration and they punished us with that goal," he said.
