Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side, Nations Football Club (FC) have returned to training today to continue preparations for the start of the 2023/24 football season.
The club based in the Ashanti Region has been in the capital for days and played a club friendly with Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
At the end of a very good exercise, Nations FC fell short after conceding twice to the host.
In a game played at Pobiman, Hearts of Oak scored through Abdul Aziz Nurudeen and Kojo Obeng Jnr to secure a 2-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.
After what was a very good exercise, Nations FC are yet to return to the Ashanti Region.
The club has trained in Accra today as part of the preparations for the start of the new Ghana Premier League season.
