Semedo said, "I feel very good, the teammates and the coaching staff are very helpful to me, this is like a family and I'm very happy.
"I was tested at Sporting but, fortunately, that did not go ahead and I signed for Benfica. Without that maybe I would not be in the best club in the world."

On the sale of Neymar to PSG, he added: "Neymar is a great player, but we have players who are replacing him, who have entered with force and deserve to be supported."
