Neymar backing PSG president\'s push to prise Zidane from Real Madrid

PSG ace Neymar has welcomed their plans to move for Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.

Zidane is top of PSG's shortlist of replacements for Unai Emery, who isn't getting along with Neymar.

Emery was unhappy with the star after his dismissal in the 2-2 draw with Marseille, while the pair clashed last week in training.

Diario Gol says Neymar has made it known to club officials he supports their move for Zidane, who is aware of PSG's interest.

Neymar has pumped Brazil teammate Marcelo for information about the Real coach and the response was all positive. The Brazilian has since spoken to PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to support the move.

For their part, Real are desperate not to lose Zidane. Indeed, president Florentino Perez remains confident his coach will leave for only one job - to coach the France national team.
