Athletic Club forward, Nico Williams, has signed a new contract at the La Liga club until 30th, June, 2027, the club has announced.
Despite being just 21 years old, Nico is only four appearances away from reaching 100 matches as a Lion.
He has so far set up five goals, while nine of his 13 senior strikes came last season.
Athletic have tied down a player who was linked with some of Europe’s biggest sides.
However, Nico has chosen to continue making history as a Zurigorri alongside his brother Iñaki Williams and the rest of his teammates.
The pacy winger arrived at Lezama a decade ago at the under-12 level and has since made steady progress on his way to becoming a crucial figure in the first team.
Nico, who competed in the last World Cup as a 20-year-old, is a footballer of enormous talent with the ability to impact the present and future.
