Nico Williams fighting with Ansu Fati for a spot on Spain's World Cup squad

Bilbao star Nico Williams battling with Barcelona attacker Ansu Fati for a spot on Spain's World Cup squad. Spain's national team coach Luis Enrique has recently revealed that "there is only room for one".

In the first 10 days, Nico had three goals and four important passes. Ansu, who has also appeared on all three days, has three goals and three assists.

Nico plays for 723 minutes, whereas Ansu only plays for 336 minutes. That is, he marks every 112 minutes.

Nico took a longer route to LaLiga. On April 28, 2021, he made his debut against Valladolid. Marcelino was cleverly preparing his formation. This season, he has already scored the same number of goals as he did in his first year and a half.

Furthermore, unlike Ansu, he has stayed clear of injuries. That has given him the consistency and rhythm that Ansu, who has played half as much as his generational teammate and debuting with Luis Enrique against Switzerland on September 24, lacks.

On September 16, Luis Enrique made what appeared to be an almost formal declaration of intent. "As of today, I don't see Ansu for the list,"
