Spanish-Ghanaian attacker, Nico Williams put on a fantastic performance for Spain on Sunday night and scored the opening goal to lead the side to a 2-1 win over England in the finals of the 2024 European Champions.

The forward who is the brother to Ghana striker Inaki Williams has been one of the top performers for Spain at the European championship since the tournament started in Germany.

In the finals played in Berlin today, Nico Williams started in the attack against Spain and impressed with his displays.

The talented Athletic Club forward scored the opening match of the game in the 47th minute after an assist from Yamal Lamine.

Later in the game, England drew level when Chelsea star Cole Palmer scored a screamer from outside the box after Jude Bellingham set him up in the 73rd minute.

While the game appeared to be heading for a draw, Mikel Oyarzabel won it for Spain in the 86th minute with a goal assisted by Marc Cucurella.

The win has seen Spain being crowned Champions of the 2024 European Championship.
