It is very clear that there is a fiction between the Ghana Football Association and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Nii Lante Vanderpuye.

The latest disagreement came when the minister asked the GFA to order Avram Grant to review his squad he has called to play Rwanda in their last AFCON qualifier. Nii Lante instructed the FA to use only locally based players because the ministry do not have enough funds to cater for the airfares of the foreign based players.

Deputy captain of the Black Stars, Dede Ayew paid some couple of players airfares whiles other players bought their own air flight ticket but the PRO have advised the minister to change behavior because he is destroying Ghana football.

Speaking to Accra based Citi FM, Sannie Darra said, “I must admit that there was problems before Nii Lante Vanderpuye came into office.

“We had people coming to our office to raid there but Nii Lante’s Vanderpuye’s behavior is not helping us because if you feel there is problem, let sit down and settle it but you don’t go around and say them.

“I feel his behavior is killing Ghana Football because as a minister you don’t behave like this.” Sannie added.
